My name is Mary Macdonald and I've pulled out a sewing machine that my husband gave me for Christmas about 15 years ago.  I've just retired so I'm suppose to have all kinds if spare time now.  I have made a couple of small easy projects to get me warmed up.  You know the kind, straight seams, only require a meter or less of material.  So I'm looking forward to picking my way through this site and learning some good tips and new skills, and advancing to a bit more challenging projects.
