Hello, I have taken on the task to restore my mothers wedding gown.  It dates back to 1958.  The bodice  and skirt are both embroided lace that lays over a satin lining.  It is flat in the front torso and has three tiers of gathered lace on the rear portion of the skirt. The lace is discolored to yellowish-brown and the toule underneath in dried out and brittle. I would like to send to you a picture for any advice.

thank you, Sincerely

Carol Belote-Young

Hi,

You can try visiting your local custom dry cleaner to see what they recommend.
