1. Why are videos not working properly or full screen mode not working?

    1. Install the latest version of Adobe's Flash player. Click Here to download now then install.
    2. To watch videos in Full Screen click on the full screen button on the right side of the video control bar. If the full screen button does not work please install the latest version of Adobe's Flash player by Clicking Here to download now then install.
    3. Make sure JavaScript is turned on in your web browser.

Are videos playing slow or with interruptions?

Our tutorials are best viewed through a broadband connection, such as DSL or cable modem access. We do not recommend using a 56k connection.

If you are connecting to the internet using a slower connection you can still view our videos, they will just take longer to download.

If you pause the video and wait until the entire video downloads, which is visible when the play bar at the bottom of the movie turns dark, you can watch it without interruptions.


2. Can I login to the Online Sewing Training Video Classes from any computer with my username and password, or am I limited to a single computer?

Yes, you can login to the Online Sewing Training Video Classes from any internet-connected computer. However, you can only be logged in one computer at a time.


3. What’s the best way to keep up to date on new videos, etc.?

Once new videos are posted, an email will be sent to all our subscribers. We will never sell or share your email address with other companies.


4. What are the advantages of subscribing to your Online Sewing Training Video Classes?

Subscribers will be able to access all our videos 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on line. In addition Subscribers will enjoy all the new videos that will be posted on line and be able to communicate with other subscribers. The lessons can only be viewed online as streaming video. High-speed internet access is not required, but we do recommend it for a faster, smoother viewing experience.


5. How will the charge appear on my credit card statement?

The charge on your credit card will appear as: The Sewing Workshop.


6. How do I cancel my Subscription automatic renewal (PayPal or Credit Card)?

If you subscribed by PayPal please follow instruction under "A" or if you subscribed by Credit Card follow "B".

A) Canceling PayPal subscription automatic renewal:
Canceling a subscription cancels all future scheduled payments of that subscription. A subscription can be cancelled up to the day of the next scheduled payment.

 
  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Click the My Account tab.
  3. Click the History subtab.
  4. Click More filters, select Subscriptions and agreements, and then click Subscriptions.
  5. Change the date back to the year the subscription was created, and then click Show.
  6. Click Details next to the subscription.
  7. Click Cancel Subscription.


B) Canceling Visa or MasterCard subscription automatic renewal:
If you payed by Visa or MasterCard , follow the steps outlined below:

 
  1. Login to your eSewingWorkshop account.
  2. Click on "Account" on the top right of the page.
  3. Under "Your payment history" locate the "cancel" button.

7. How do I Subscribe?

  1. Sign in from the top right link on the site.
  2. Click on your "My Account" page after login.
  3. Then from your "Membership Information" page select a Subscription type, a Payment Method, then click on "Continue". Click Here to Start

8. How do I contact your Customer Service or Technical Support Departments?

Through our contact page on the site. We will answer any of your questions and requests for new videos.


9. Do you offer educational discounts for students or educators?

Yes, as and educational web site, we do our best to provide access to students and educators. We will provide coupons for educators and institutions to provide for their students. These coupons will provide (5 users and up) volume discounts of 20% to 50% based on the number of subscriptions needed. Please contact us regarding any volume discount you are interested in.


10. I have a 56k connection or the movies are very slow to load up.

Our tutorials are best viewed through a broadband connection, such as DSL or cable modem access. We do not recommend using a 56k connection. If you are connecting to the internet using a slower connection you can still view our videos, they will just take longer to download. (If you wait until the entire video downloads, which is visible when the play bar at the bottom of the movie turns dark, you can watch it without interruptions).

11. Why does my streaming video keep pausing?

If you pause the video, and wait for more (or all) of it to download before you resume playing, it will play without pausing continually. You can tell how much of the video has downloaded by looking at the Player controller bar. You will see the bar fill up with a dark gray line, from left to right, as the movie downloads. Once the gray portion reached the right side of the controller bar, the movie is completely downloaded into your hard disk cache.

Once a movie is downloaded fully, you can fast-forward or rewind to any part of the movie instantly without resending the stream.


12. I received this error message: "Your browser cookies are not enabled.


We require that cookies are acceptable in order to login. Please enable your browser cookies and then close and restart your browser to login".

To enable cookies in Firefox, go to the Tools menu and select Options. Under the Privacy tab, click to expand the Cookies heading and reveal the full menu. Check the box "Allow sites to set cookies." Click OK.

In Internet Explorer (IE), go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options. Under the Privacy tab, make sure the slider is set to Medium (the default setting for IE). Click OK.

In Safari, go to the Safari menu and select Preferences. Under the Security tab, set the Accept Cookies preference to Always. Close the Preferences window.

Close and restart your browser. If you still receive the "enable cookies" message, check the clock on your computer. Make sure the date and time are correct and then login again. This should resolve the problem.
