Learn how to measure and draft set-in sleeve block patterns.
The set in sleeve is the most common type of sleeve and many other sleeve styles derive from it.
You will also learn how to add seam and hem allowances around the sleeve pattern and mark notches and tailor’s tack on it.
In addition you will learn how to style the sleeve block pattern to make it more fitted using darts. This will give the sleeves a slight bend at the elbow, like the natural shape of the arm which makes the sleeve more comfortable to wear.
