Hello Nehzat,
I have this jeans jacket with two folds/pleats on its back (first picture). I don't like how this style looks when wearing the jacket. I like to sew them down like I pinned in the second picture. I thought to sew a straight stich line along the edge. Any advice on that? Do you have a better idea? Also what needle should I use on jeans fabric?
Thanks,
Enas
Dear enasokab,
Yes you can sew a stitch line along the folded edge of the pleats as you mentioned. You can do two stitch lines to replicate the other seams.
You should use a jeans / denim needle.
Happy sewing,
Nehzat
