I am really enjoying learning how to make the pants block.  It is very interestting as well as challenging.  I took a peek at sewing the pants block.  There are a lot of chapters for both and I was wondering how long it takes to draft the pattern and sew the pants.

 Dear athomemom56,

It realy depends on your level of experience. In my experience with my live class students those with an intermediate skill level can draft and sew a pair of pants in about 18 hours.

If they are not familiar with sewing seams, darts, hemming and inserting zippers, it might take a few extra hours.

I cover all of these subject as well when sewing the pants. Some of the above topics are covered individually with their own video lessons on the site.
