 Hi nehzat

I can see that there is no ease added on the block pattern. Is thare any formula where you add ease or it is just loosening from the side seam and darts

thanks

Re Adding Ease to a Block Pattern

Hi Tammu,

The block pattern that we made is close fitted and therefore does not have any wearing ease. You can add your own wearing ease to it.

Please let me know what you are planning to sew, and I will let you know how much ease to add to each area.

Thanks,

Nehzat

more about ease

I just posted a subject about ease too!  I am new and must have missed this.  Just wanted to say you are a wonderful teacher and I hope you will continue this series with a sleeve draft and then making up the sloper pattern in muslin and showing us how to refine the fit.  I really, really, really want to be able to use flat pattern design to create a wardrobe that fits.
